Public Involvement & Transparency in Planning and Development

Development starts long before we see changes in our neighborhood. The good residents working hard, who make up our current Planning Commission spends countless hours reviewing applications, holding public hearings, and making recommendations that reflect the values and vision of Farr West residents and our general plan.

As Mayor, I’ll work hard to help ensure every development fits our city’s general plan, zoning rules, and long-term goals. I have always believed smart growth should enhance our community, not compromise the quality of life we all enjoy.

I also believe every voice matters in this process as well. That means listening not just to the majority, but making sure minority opinions are heard and respected, probably more importantly in a small town like ours. Transparency builds trust, and I’m committed to keeping residents informed and involved as we shape Farr West’s future together.
