Governance Style

1) Less Government, More Freedom

Government should protect our rights, not micromanage our lives. Some rules are necessary for safety and the common good, but every regulation should be carefully considered. I’ll stand against government overreach and fight to protect our individual freedoms.

2) Transparency and Listening
I believe good leadership starts with listening - truly listening - not just to those who agree with me, but to every voice in our community. As Mayor, I will ensure residents have a clear view into city decisions, finances, and plans. I will provide open and explore new channels for feedback, answer questions directly, and create new opportunities for every resident to be heard. I believe in building bridges and promise to lead with integrity, transparency, and no agenda, focused solely on what’s best for our community. Trust is earned through honesty, accessibility, and follow-through, and that is the standard I will uphold every day as your Mayor.

3) Service-Based Leadership 

For me, leadership has never been about titles, it’s about service. For nearly 17 years in Farr West, I’ve devoted countless hours to volunteering, coaching, mentoring, and helping neighbors in need. A Mayor’s first responsibility is to serve the people. That means putting residents first, leading with humility, and making decisions for the good of the whole community, together. True leadership is measured by how much you give, not by how much you take. My approach is rooted in service; listening first, acting with calm and clarity, and leading with integrity. I'm committed to fostering respectful dialogue, even when we disagree, because progress happens when every voice is heard. As Mayor, I will work to unite our community around shared values and common goals, ensuring transparency, fairness, and decisions that focuses and will help to place Farr West residents at the heart of every choice.

4) Respecting Property Rights
Property rights are protected by the Constitution, and every city and leader honors those rights. I will help property owners to have a voice in land-use planning and will remain accountable for following through on commitments to every resident. If given the opportunity to serve, I will also champion and advocate for thoughtful updates to our general plan, leveraging skilled and educated professionals, to help provide necessary and valuable input to balance growth while preserving the character of our community at the same time. I'll work to maintain the small-town values we all treasure while planning wisely for our future.
