Public Safety
There’s been a lot of talk about whether Farr West should create its own police force. Public safety is always a top priority, but after spending time with Roy City Police Chief, I believe that given our current size and budget, it’s not the most practical approach right now. Instead, I believe we should focus on the most effective and responsible ways to keep our city safe, and help promote our brave men and women in uniform.

With family and close friends serving, and retired from, local fire districts and city and county law enforcement, I have a deep respect for those who put their lives on the line every day for us. I also have firsthand insight into their challenges and needs. As Mayor, I’ll work closely with all public safety officials, including first responders, to support their efforts, champion their needs, and provide ongoing feedback so they can keep improving the protection they provide our community. Truly, they are some of my biggest hero's!!!

Public safety also means protecting our kids and easing stress on our infrastructure. I’ll prioritize improving high-traffic intersections and busy crosswalks and help to promote whatever necessary to focus on making our neighborhoods & streets safer for families.
